Our hospital offers a variety of lab tests to diagnose and monitor the health of your pet. Here are some common things we offer:

  1. Blood Tests:
    • Complete Blood Count (CBC): Analyzes the number and appearance of blood cells to diagnose and monitor diseases and infections.
    • Blood Chemistry: Measures chemicals in the blood to assess organ function, such as liver and kidney health.
    • Heartworm and tick-borne disease testing
    • Feline leukemia and immunodeficiency virus (FIV) testing
  2. Urine Analysis: Detects urinary tract diseases and conditions like diabetes, kidney disease, and infections.
  3. Stool (Fecal) Testing: Identifies internal parasites like tapeworms, roundworms, hookworms, and whipworms.
  4. Cytology: Examines cells from tissues or fluids to identify infections, inflammation, or cancer.
  5. Histology: Studies the microscopic structure of tissues to diagnose diseases, including cancer.
  6. Fluid Analysis: Analyzes bodily fluids other than blood, such as joint fluid, to detect diseases.
  7. Microbiology: Identifies bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms causing infections.
  8. Serology: Detects antibodies in the blood to diagnose infections and immune system disorders.
  9. On-site radiology: We have an X-ray machine on site to look for things such as broken bones, foreign bodies, tumors, and other ailments when your pet is sick.
